The Mitutoyo mechanical caliper-type inside micrometer provides the ability to measure inside dimensions with high accuracy using the precision of  the Mitutoyo micrometer. Its caliper-type jaws are constructed of hardened tool steel for lasting durability and accuracy. A clamp locks the spindle for easier manual measurement readings. A Vernier scale takes highly accurate measurements.

The Mitutoyo interchangeable rod inside micrometer makes measuring inside dimensions of different ranges of cylinders, rings and parallel surfaces faster and easier.  The micrometer head is constructed with precision, balance and durability in mind. The sizes of interchangeable rods can be adjusted with spacing collars, and an extension rod allows for measurements of deep bores and holes.

Manufactured from high quality polished steel with ground finished points. A circular spring bow joins the legs and a fine adjusting screw is mounted across the legs and is used for setting the distance between the two points.
